ETS-Lindgren Hosts Open House for Attendees of Data Center World 2023 in Austin, Texas

Tour Filter Production Line and See New DTRA 800 Amp Power Line Filters

Cedar Park, Texas – April 21, 2023 – ETS-Lindgren, a global leader in electromagnetic compatibility testing and measurement solutions, is hosting an Open House for attendees of Data Center World 2023. The event will take place on Tuesday, May 9, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at ETS-Lindgren's corporate headquarters in Cedar Park, Texas, just 30 minutes north of downtown Austin.  A complimentary buffet lunch is included along with a tour of ETS-Lindgren’s nearly 140,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility.

Data Center World is the leading digital infrastructure event designed for data center professionals, technology business leaders, and innovators shaping the future of the digital industry. As part of its ongoing support of data centers around the world, ETS-Lindgren provides the expertise to design and install innovative RF Shielding Solutions that protect critical infrastructure housed in data centers.

Whether it’s protection of critical infrastructure, such as utilities (power, water, gas) or services (data, financial, communication), ETS-Lindgren’s experts have developed RF Shielding Solutions to defend against the threats posed by High-Power Electromagnetic (HPEM), High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP), and Intentional Electromagnetic Interference (IEMI). These dangers are becoming increasingly urgent for governments and industries worldwide, making the focus on the resiliency of critical infrastructures a top priority.

During the Open House, attendees will see where the essential components for HPEM, HEMP, and IEMI protection — including Power, Data, Signal, and Control Line Filters — are designed and manufactured.  These products provide safe and secure entry into the RF shielded and protected data center environment. Visitors will also see ETS-Lindgren's latest innovations in filter manufacturing, including the new high-current DTRA 800 Amp Filters.

"I'm happy to share the significance of our newly expanded and extensive filter production line during the Open House,” said Sergio Longoria, Product Line Technical Manager, RF Filters, with ETS-Lindgren.  “Here we manufacture our Model LRX-EMP RF Power Line Filters in the ranges of 10, 30, 60, 100, 250, 400, 600, and now 800 Amp that comply with MIL-STD-188-125-1A.”  The filter series meets or exceeds the residual requirements and other norms of MIL-STD-188-125-1A, released by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in July 2021, superseding MIL-STD-188-125-1, released in 1998.  The MIL-STD-188-125-1A standard specifies test methods as well as updates passing criteria for points of entry (POE), such as filters, to secure environments including HPEM-, HEMP-, and IEMI-protected data centers, SCIF, and TEMPEST shielded enclosures.  ETS-Lindgren's HPEM, HEMP, and IEMI Protection Solutions have been independently tested and certified by the Little Mountain Test Facility operated by Boeing at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah.  (Test reports are available upon request.)

“Open House attendees can expect to learn more about ETS-Lindgren's manufacturing and testing processes and see real-world examples of how our Solutions optimize modern data centers with protection against HPEM, HEMP, and IEMI threats,” said Tara Kellogg, Director, Business Development Healthcare, Industrial, Government, with ETS-Lindgren.  “Ask how we can help with retrofitting existing data centers as well as work with architects and contractors on turn-key Solutions for new data centers in order to provide cost-effective and efficient protection of critical infrastructure,” she added.
