New VisionTRX Software Announced

Visual Monitoring System Redefines Automated Failure Based Analysis

CEDAR PARK, Texas, November 30, 2017 ETS-Lindgren announced immediate availability of VisionTRX a visual monitoring system that redefines automated failure based analysis of Equipment Under Test (EUT) during Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and many other testing scenarios.  In order to verify EUT behavior, the software allows automated visual monitoring of relevant parameters during exposure to the required electromagnetic or predetermined field strengths.  The EUT may include speedometer needles, dash lights, LEDs, radios, heads up displays, etc. the possibilities are endless.  VisionTRX functions independently or seamlessly with ETS-Lindgren's TILE! - the popular Total Integrated Lab Environment software for performing automated EMC tests in corporate, commercial and government test laboratories.

"We initially created VisionTRX primarily for automotive applications.  With the heightened test levels required of autonomous vehicles, our customers requested extensive monitoring parameters and customizable limits," said Michael Christopher, Director, Software Engineering with ETS-Lindgren. "Providing these capabilities and more, such as frequency tests for turn signals, helps automotive test technicians accurately conduct testing with greater confidence and extensive time-savings.  VisionTRX allows active real-time analysis and fault detection for each region automatically sitting at a desk for hours viewing a monitor of a EUT is no longer required!"

In addition to automotive EMC test applications, VisionTRX is ideal for any application where humans watch for product failures.

VisionTRX works with most cameras that are HDMI, USB, Ethernet based H.264 or commercially available security cameras with RTSP. EMC hardened cameras are available for use inside chambers.  Other key features include event recording, active data overlay (for Time/Date, or other conditions) and thresholding.  When functioning in parallel with TILE!, VisionTRX allows automatic thresholding to find the exact level where faults occur.
