ETS-Lindgrens Technical Contributions to EMC+SIPI 2021: Now Available On-Demand!

Hardware and Software Demos at IEEE Virtual Symposium Feature LIVE Q&A Session on August 13

CEDAR PARK, Texas, August 12, 2021 During the week of August 2, ETS-Lindgren presented several tutorials at the 2021 Joint IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Signal & Power Integrity (SIPI) and EMC Europe.  These tutorial sessions are now available on-demand through September 30 for viewing at your convenience wherever you may be located!  The ETS-Lindgren tutorial sessions featured several noted experts in the areas of HEMP/EMP/IEMI, Automotive, EMC Testing Basics, ANSI C63 Standards, Antennas/Robotics, Wireless Coexistence, Reverberation Chambers, and 5G/mmWave.  Unfortunately, a technical problem prevented the live broadcast of the 5G/mmWave tutorial originally scheduled on August 6. The problem has been fixed and the session WT-FRI-6, "mmWave Devices: 5G Test Challenges and Solutions," co-chaired by James Young of ETS-Lindgren and Clive Bax of Bureau Veritas, is now available for your viewing pleasure on-demand per the details below.

In addition, the Symposium On-Demand Technical Program features two demonstrations presented by ETS-Lindgren's Jack McFadden, EMC Systems Engineer, and Ross Carlton, EMC Test Systems Engineer.  These include "Measurement of mmWave Radiated Spurious Emissions" by Mr. Carlton and "Radiated Emissions Testing per CISPR 22/32 Using Remote Location" by Mr. McFadden.  A LIVE Q&A session is scheduled with the presenters on Friday, August 13, from 10:00 to 10:45 am EDT.

You can also view ETS-Lindgren's "Breakout Room" presentation with Garth D'Abreu, Director Automotive Solutions, on the topic "State-of-the-Art Test Methods for the Comprehensive Evaluation of Module and Vehicle Mounted Antenna-Dependent ADAS Features."  Click here for an on-demand viewing of this presentation by ETS-Lindgren's automotive expert, Mr. D'Abreu, and guest speaker Ram Mirwani with Konrad Technologies.

Visit ETS-Lindgren's virtual booth during the final days of the Symposium exhibition to learn about our latest products and services.  Exhibit hours are from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm EDT on both August 12 and 13.  ETS-Lindgren staff will be available to chat with you during those hours in real-time, or feel free to schedule an appointment here.  Note access to the virtual exhibition is available at no charge using a Guest Pass registration.

"With the virtual symposium format this year, we have been fortunate to have had many new speakers in our tutorial sessions from around the globe many of whom are participating in the IEEE EMC Society's annual symposium for the first time," said Janet O'Neil, Customer Relations Manager with ETS-Lindgren. "It was a pleasure to collaborate with these industry leaders and learn from their insightful presentations.  We encourage the symposium registrants to view the novel presentations from speakers based in China, Finland, Germany, India, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and Spain, in addition to our excellent contributors from the United States."

For easy reference, the tutorials organized by ETS-Lindgren are summarized below:

  • WT-WED-2: EMC Testing Basics Part 1
  • WT-THU-2: EMC Testing Basics Part 2
  • WT-THU-6: Emerging Technologies: The Impact of Modern Robotics, Data Analysis, and CEM Simulation on Antenna and EMC Measurements in 2021 and Beyond!
  • WT-FRI-1: Modern Automotive EMC Technology Ensuring Safety and Reliability
