Global Medical Imaging Professionals to Convene at RSNA 2025 in Chicago

Cedar Park, Texas — November 17, 2025 — ETS-Lindgren, the global leader in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Shielding Solutions,  will showcase an array of radio frequency (RF)-shielding products and services designed for MRI applications at the 111th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA 2025), held November 30 to December 4, 2025, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

As the world’s largest medical-imaging conference, RSNA 2025 features an extensive technical exhibit dedicated to the latest MRI-related technologies. “We are excited to be exhibiting at RSNA,” said Tara Kellogg, Director of Business Development for Healthcare, Industry, and Government at ETS-Lindgren. “This event offers a valuable forum for radiologists and industry experts to exchange perspectives on the latest imaging-technology progress.” At the exhibition in Booth 3135 (November 30 to December 3 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm CT), attendees will learn about ETS-Lindgren’s cutting-edge RF-Shielding Solutions tailored to medical-imaging facilities. “For decades we’ve partnered with the medical-imaging community to support MRI scanners — and the professionals and patients who rely on them,” said Ms. Kellogg. “Today’s advanced MRI systems demand best-in-class RF shielding to ensure peak performance and high-quality imaging.”

ETS-Lindgren’s RF-Shielding Solutions are engineered to deliver superior electromagnetic isolation for critical environments such as medical imaging suites, secure facilities, and test laboratories. Visitors to ETS-Lindgren’s Booth 3135 can talk with our Trusted Advisors about custom-engineered modular systems incorporating high-performance shielded panels, doors, windows, and penetrations designed to achieve attenuation levels up to 100 dB or greater across a broad frequency range. The ETS-Lindgren team ensures that every project meets or exceeds industry standards, furnishing comprehensive design, installation, and certification services for reliable, long-term performance.

RSNA 2025 attendees can interact with an EVO™ Air MRI Door model that will be on exhibit in Booth 3135 to experience its ease of operation. The EVO Air Door’s exceptional modern design provides reliable, low-maintenance service for use in rigorous MRI environments, including a lever-style handle requiring minimal operational force. With revolutionary MRI door technology in a lightweight, mechanically operated, high-performance shielded door, the EVO Air Door is available in three distinct door configurations: RF-Shielded, Acoustic, and Dual Leaf. Each door is distinguished by a pneumatically operated, bladderless, gasketless, fingerless, virtually maintenance-free sealing system that ensures greater reliability while maintaining easy use. With its low-profile, ADA-compliant threshold, the door facilitates effortless patient gurney transfers and effortless cleaning, aspects that are especially useful for surgical applications. But perhaps the most important property of the EVO door is its RF-shielded configuration, with 100 dB attenuation over frequency ranges of up to 450 MHz, making it ideal for surgical MRI suites.

Utilizing Liquid Crystal (LC) technology integrated into a high-performance RF window, ETS-Lindgren’s ClearShield™ S-Glass provides dynamic privacy options for patients. DMX controllers afford the ability to select the desired level of a window’s opaqueness, eliminating the need to clean and maintain cumbersome blinds. This LC technology, available on all ETS-Lindgren ClearShield Windows and Door Windows, will be shown in Booth 3135.

ETS-Lindgren appreciates the importance of a calming environment for MRI patient care as well as the need to prevent adverse RF interference. With ETS-Lindgren's Med-Vizion™ ZXR LED Down Lighting, technologists can adjust the lighting level of an MRI suite with convenient dimmers. On display in Booth 3135, this high-performance, light-emitting diode downlight has no UV, IR, or RF emissions and delivers engineered heat displacement, preventing premature LED failure. Without filaments, the LEDs are unaffected by magnetic fields. In addition, Med-Vizion ZXR LED Down Lighting produces the equivalent of a 175-watt incandescent light using only 32 watts of power, ensuring energy-cost savings and a long life.

ETS-Lindgren will also highlight a digital Magnetic Active Compensation System (MACS/D) in Booth 3135. Designed for urban MRI sites with frequent high-level interfering field levels, MACS/D provides cost-effective, maintenance-free high-performance attenuation of dynamic environmental magnetic fields for MRI sites. MACS/D incorporates patented ACR technology, providing higher compensation at the magnet’s isocenter than other active compensation systems, with effective attenuation factors in the isocenter of up to 350 versus 40 or fewer attainable by competing systems. Additionally, MACS/D’s high-efficiency, low-dissipation coil-driver amplifier ensures long-term system reliability.

For enhanced patient safety, ETS-Lindgren’s MRI Patient Scanner conveniently identifies harmful ferromagnetic materials that are dangerous within the MRI suite environment. The MRI Patient Scanner is a portable, handheld metal detector that combines high sensitivity to ferromagnetic metals with immunity to non-ferromagnetic metals. With its three analysis modes on an easy-to-use keypad, the scanner helps radiologists identify anything on or in the patient that should not be near the strong magnetic field area of an MRI suite. See a demonstration of the MRI Patient Scanner in ETS-Lindgren’s Booth 3135.
