Meet ETS-Lindgren’s EMC, Wireless, and Automotive Experts at Two IEEE EMC Chapter Tabletop Shows

CEDAR PARK, Texas – May 11, 2023 – ETS-Lindgren is pleased to announce support of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) “tabletop” shows sponsored by the Chicago Chapter on Tuesday, May 23, and by the Southeastern (SE) Michigan Chapter on Thursday, May 25.  IEEE is the trusted voice for engineering, computing, and technology information around the globe.

At these regional shows, ETS-Lindgren will showcase its global Test and Measurement Solutions to address EMC, Wireless, and Automotive technologies.  ETS-Lindgren will also be offering an informative brochure for visitors to its tabletop display at each show:  The Test and Measurement Solutions Full Line Brochure, which explores the company's diverse range of offerings.  With these state-of-the-art products and services, visitors will quickly appreciate that ETS-Lindgren is committed to a smarter, more connected future.

"We wanted to reach those who could not travel to attend the annual Symposium by taking EMC education to the members regionally," said Janet O'Neil, Customer Relations Manager with ETS-Lindgren, who was enlisted to put together the novel tabletop shows with the IEEE EMC Society Chicago and SE Michigan Chapters in the mid-90s.  "Our first speaker was the legendary Clayton R. Paul, an icon of the EMC industry, so, of course, the event was well attended.  Frank Krozel, Scott Lyle, and I worked on these 'original' tabletop shows; I like to think the late Dr. Paul would be as happy as I am to see how Frank and Scott have carried on the tradition of providing quality EMC education to their local communities.  Their tenacity and continued commitment to growing and improving the program each year have led to the shows' success as well as consistent attendee enthusiasm.  I personally appreciate the chance for everyone to visit with the exhibitors and learn what’s new with their products/services, while also reconnecting with others they might not have seen since the previous show."

Visit the ETS-Lindgren team at the IEEE EMC Chapter Tabletop Shows on Tuesday, May 23, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CDT at Chandler’s Chophouse, located in Schaumburg, Illinois; and on Thursday, May 25, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EDT at the Embassy Suites located in Livonia, Michigan.  Featured speakers include Dr. Eric Bogatin with Teledyne LeCroy/Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado – Boulder and Dr. Todd Hubing with LearnEMC/Professor Emeritus at Clemson University.  (The technical programs featuring Drs. Bogatin and Hubing are the same at each location.)
