HI-2790B Calibration Comparison System
The HI-2790B system verifies calibration consistency of microwave oven survey meters using a controlled 2450 MHz source, reference meter, and portable anechoic chamber for reliable compliance testing.
Microwave Survey Meter Calibration Verification System
The HI-2790B Calibration Comparison System provides a complete, controlled environment for verifying the calibration stability and measurement consistency of microwave oven survey meters used in compliance and quality assurance testing. Designed to meet U.S. Government CDRH/FDA requirements, the system includes a precision 2450 MHz source, an HI-1710A Local Calibration Reference Meter, and a portable anechoic chamber equipped with a slotted-end waveguide antenna and probe rotation fixture. This setup enables repeatable, plane-wave-equivalent power density evaluations across a dynamic range of 0.1 to 5 mW/cm². The HI-2790B is intended for comparison checks rather than absolute or transfer calibration, ensuring each survey instrument remains within specified accuracy throughout routine verification cycles. Its portable chamber and integrated control module make it easy to position within production or laboratory environments, providing a dependable method for maintaining long-term measurement integrity.
