ETS‑Lindgren Announces Technical Contributions to AMTA 2026, the Industry’s Leading Symposium on Antenna Measurement Techniques in Austin, Texas!

October 15, 2026

CEDAR PARK, Texas, October 15, 2026 – ETS‑Lindgren is proud to announce its technical contributions to AMTA 2026, the 48th Annual Meeting and Symposium of the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA). Hosted by ETS‑Lindgren, the Symposium will take place in person from November 1 to 6 at the Hyatt Regency Austin. As a Gold Sponsor, ETS‑Lindgren will showcase its expertise through presentations and research papers covering Radio Frequency (RF)/Microwave Test and Measurement System Solutions. Social and networking events, as well as a Technical Tour of ETS‑Lindgren’s corporate headquarters in nearby Cedar Park, Texas, round out the planned Symposium activities.

ETS‑Lindgren’s technical contributions begin with Student Day on Tuesday, November 3, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Following student check-in, the event will feature a complimentary lunch, a presentation and discussion on antenna measurement technology, a field trip to Silicon Labs in downtown Austin, and a complimentary dinner with a guest speaker. Andy Chung, ETS‑Lindgren’s Director, Wireless Solutions, has created the “Antenna Measurement System Educational Module” to share with the students. “During the visit to the wireless device testing laboratory at Silicon Labs, students will see a real-world application of the content presented in our technical program. That’s a unique opportunity to enhance their understanding of antenna measurements. In addition, students will attend a technical session, explore the exhibition, and attend the technical presentation ‘Next-Generation Electromagnetic Control with Metamaterials’ by Dr. Emanuele Galiffi with The University of Texas at Austin. It will be a busy, exciting Student Day!” said Mr. Chung. “And best of all, the event is free to attend for pre-registered college and university-level students,” he added. Student Day culminates in a Student/Member Mixer Q&A.

Janet O’Neil, ETS‑Lindgren’s Customer Relationship Manager, will chair the popular Young Professionals event on Tuesday, November 3, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The event is proudly sponsored by ETS‑Lindgren. “I’m thrilled to be part of the second annual Young Professionals Reception,” said Ms. O’Neil. “It promises to be both entertaining and educational, with AMTA experts and newcomers teaming up for a Jeopardy-style competition. Attendees are also able to enjoy valuable networking opportunities at this event.”

ETS‑Lindgren’s research papers begin on Wednesday, November 4:

  • During Poster Session 11 from 1:30 to 3:10 pm, Jun Luo, ETS‑Lindgren’s Principal Software Engineer, will present “Improved Fast TIS Measurement in a Reverberation Chamber Via Quality-Based Sample Filtering.” Mr. Luo co-authored this paper with his ETS‑Lindgren colleagues Mingfei Xie, RF/Microwave Systems Engineer; Jerry Burns, Lab Development Specialist; Edwin Mendivil, Principal RF Engineer; Michael Christopher, Director, Software Engineering; and Laura Burris, Technical Software Writer.
  • From 3:40 to 5:00 pm in Session 12: Range Design, Instrumentation, and Characterization 2, Yibo Wang, PhD, ETS‑Lindgren’s Principal RF Engineer, will present “Further Development of a Spectrally Filtered Matched Filtering Method for Fast Anechoic Chamber Evaluation Using Circular Scanning.” Co-authored with Zhong Chen, ETS‑Lindgren’s Chief Engineer, the paper is scheduled from 4:50 to 5:00 pm.

On Thursday, November 5, from 1:50 to 3:30 pm, ETS‑Lindgren experts will present two papers in Session 15: Antenna Measurements 2:

  • From 1:50 to 2:10 pm, Dr. Wang will present the paper “Revisiting the Effects of Reference Point Selection on Antenna Gain Extrapolation and a Novel Method for Optimal Reference Point Search,” co-authored by Mr. Chen.
  • Concluding the Session, from 3:10 to 3:30 pm, Mr. Chen will present the paper “Mode-Domain Translation for Compressed Sensing-Based Cylindrical Mode Filtering from Single-Cut Measurements with Offset Rotation,” co-authored by Dr. Wang.

Dr. Wang also serves on the 2026 Technical Program Committee, for which he reviewed submitted papers.

On Thursday, November 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, ETS‑Lindgren proudly sponsors the Women in Engineering (WIE) Reception. Host Tara Kellogg, ETS‑Lindgren’s Global Director, Business Development, enthused, “Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating innovation, leadership, and collaboration in technical careers. This event welcomes all members of AMTA and IEEE — women and men alike — to foster meaningful conversations and connections across our engineering communities. Enjoy an evening networking with colleagues and making new connections!” The gathering features guest speaker Nika Amralah, Canadian Department of National Defence’s Lead RF Analysis Engineer, who will share her experience and insights on leadership, teamwork, and professional growth, offering perspectives especially inspiring for attendees in the early stages of their careers.

Closing out the stimulating Symposium week, on Friday, November 6, ETS‑Lindgren will provide a Technical Tour of the company’s global headquarters located in Cedar Park, just north of Austin. Attendees will go behind the scenes to experience one of the industry’s premier facilities for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), wireless, and antenna measurement testing. This exclusive Tour offers a firsthand look at the technologies, laboratories, and test environments that support the development of today’s most advanced electronic and wireless products. The Cedar Park campus is home to an A2LA-accredited Calibration Laboratory, a state-of-the-art wireless test laboratory, and one of the nation’s largest EMC antenna calibration facilities.

“This year’s AMTA Symposium is especially meaningful for ETS‑Lindgren,” said Joel Kellogg, ETS‑Lindgren’s Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. “As Chair of the AMTA 2026 Host Committee, I’m honored to help ETS‑Lindgren host AMTA’s 48th Annual Meeting and Symposium in Austin, Texas.
