ETS-Lindgren Announces Technical Contributions to EMV 2018

Automotive EMC, 5G Wireless, EMC Test Systems and Vision-Based Software to be Presented at Leading European Conference

 

CEDAR PARK, Texas, February 16, 2018 - ETS-Lindgren announced its technical contributions to the EMV 2018 conference located in Dusseldorf, Germany at the Messe Dsseldorf, Hall 3, on February 20-22, 2018.  The contributions include two presentations and an "Industry Highlight" Compact Seminar during the EMV Forum.  Engineers from ETS-Lindgren's corporate headquarters in Cedar Park, Texas will attend the EMV 2018 conference and share their expertise in test and measurement for Automotive EMC, Wireless 5G/mmWave, EMC Test Systems and Vision-Based Software applications.

The presentations start on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 20 with ETS-Lindgren's Ammar Sarwar, Regional Sales Manager - EMEA North, presenting "Automated Equipment under Test (EUT) Vision System Monitoring for Immunity Testing" from 12:40-13:00 hrs.

The "Industry Highlight" Compact Seminar takes place on Wednesday, February 21, from 13:00 - 14:30 hrs and features two presentations by ETS-Lindgren experts, Michael Foegelle, Director of Technology Development, and Garth D'Abreu, Director of Automotive Solutions.   The seminar is titled "Wireless EMC for 5G and mmWave Measurements" and includes an extended presentation by Dr. Foegelle titled, "Testing Challenges of Smart Antenna Systems for 5G and Millimeter Waves".  Mr. D'Abreu will also give an extended presentation titled, "The Impact of Antennas and Sensors on Automotive EMC."

On Thursday, February 22, ETS-Lindgren's Vic Hudson, Director - EMC Systems, will present "Turnkey EMC Test System Advantages" from 10:00-10:20 hrs.

Representatives of ETS-Lindgren's ETS-U will be on-hand during the EMV conference to discuss upcoming educational courses on EMC Fundamentals (March 27-29), Wireless Over-The-Air (OTA) (August 7-9), and TILE!  (October 16-17).
