The EMGen™ RF Signal Generator Model 7003-003 is a modular signal generator engineered specifically for EMC testing applications. Covering a broad frequency range from 4 kHz to 6 GHz, it produces CW, AM, FM, and pulse-modulated signals without requiring any external modulation source. As the primary signal source in an EMC immunity test system, EMGen delivers precise and stable RF signals at the required frequency and level to ensure consistent test performance. Its internal modulator, highly accurate frequency control (+/-1 ppm/year), fast output response, and monotone behavior ensure clean and reliable results essential for EMC evaluations. EMGen supports both conducted and radiated immunity tests through a single SMA output connector. The system is Plug-and-Play within the EMCenter and is easily configured and controlled using TILE! Lab Management Software.
