3164-06 Open Boundary Quad-Ridged Horn
The Model 3164-06 Open Boundary Quad-ridged Horn Antenna’s open boundary design is similar to two double-ridged waveguide antennas placed orthogonally to each other, and its surprisingly compact size offers improved pattern and gain when compared with enclosed quad-ridged horns of similar dimensions.
A Surprisingly Compact Open Horn Antenna
The Model 3164-06 Open Boundary Quad-ridged Horn Antenna's open boundary design is similar to two double-ridged waveguide antennas placed orthogonally to each other, and its surprisingly compact size offers improved pattern and gain when compared with enclosed quad-ridged horns of similar dimensions.
The 3164-06 has exceptional bandwidth, with operating frequency band for optimum performance from 300 MHz to 6 GHz. Two orthogonally placed input feeds allow this antenna to generate both linear and circular polarized measurements across the entire frequency band, without manual polarization.
Key Advantages:
- Frequency Range: 300 MHz to 6 GHz
- Linear or Circular Polarization (With Hybrid)
- Compact Design
- Flat Gain for Upper 2/3 of Range
- Manual: 3164-06 Open Boundary Quad-Ridged Horn
