The Model 8100-073 RF Power Amplifier delivers 1000 W of output power and is designed for high-intensity EMC applications, including High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) testing. Its 1 GHz to 2.5 GHz operating range supports rigorous commercial, aerospace, and military immunity requirements where high field strengths are essential. Utilizing GaAs technology, the amplifier provides superior linearity, rugged construction, and improved efficiency compared to silicon-based designs, ensuring reliable performance during continuous operation. Very low distortion and full tolerance for 100% output mismatch allow stable operation even under demanding load or antenna conditions. Remote control capability via GPIB and LAN enables seamless integration into automated test systems. A standard rack-mount configuration is included, with an optional bench mount available for flexible laboratory environments.
