AMS-5709 FR2 MIMO OTA Antenna Measurement System
The AMS-5709 FR2 MIMO OTA Antenna Measurement System enables accurate, repeatable testing of millimeter-wave wireless device performance in realistic multi-path environments, supporting both FR2 MIMO downlink and antenna design evaluations.
Unlock Accurate Millimeter‑Wave OTA Measurements
The AMS-5709 FR2 MIMO OTA Antenna Measurement System enables repeatable radiated performance testing of millimeter-wave wireless devices in a simulated multi-path environment to emulate real-world conditions. It generates spatial field structures representative of various real-world scenarios and adapts conducted channel models into radiated spatial channel models for full device evaluation. Optional test packages support both downlink FR2 MIMO performance and FR2 MIMO antenna design testing. The Model 3102 Conical Log Spiral is also used as a communication antenna in support of over-the-air wireless device testing per 3GPP TS 38.151.
- Test Enclosure - The mobile RF environment simulator generates realistic spatial field structures and radiated channel models to evaluate full device performance, including downlink MIMO and receive diversity for millimeter wave NR.
- Antenna Array and Channel Emulation - A dual-polarized, multi-antenna array with integrated RF cabling works in conjunction with channel emulators to transmit downlink signals from various angles with doppler and delay variations, accurately replicating real-world multipath conditions.
- Positioning System - A dual-axis positioner rotates the device under test (DUT) to assess performance across various orientations in the test field.
- EMQuest Data Acquisition Software - The EMQuest FR2 MIMO OTA Test Option enhances EMQ-100 software with throughput testing, antenna correlation analysis, and system validation features.
