A Larger, More Rugged Version of Our Popular 3109 Model Antenna

The Model 3158 Biconical Antenna is a high power biconical designed for high level immunity. It can generate 100 V/m over a ferrite covered ground at 2 m distance per the ISO 11451-2 standard. The 3158 is a rugged version of the 3109 antenna design that has larger elements which reduce the VSWR at low frequencies.

The ETS‑Lindgren’s Model 3158 high-power biconical antenna has a 4:1 Guanella balun for matching the impedance to the amplifier. The balun maintains a low operating temperature due to the unit’s efficient radiation and high power design.
