Free-Standing Copper Walls For Enhanced MRI Shielding
MR-Cu Shield System features modular copper-clad panels engineered for high RF attenuation and streamlined installation in new or existing MRI suites. Each panel is built around a fire-rated LVL frame, creating a structurally independent shield that improves acoustic performance and reduces load on the parent structure. The system’s electroplated copper surface provides more than 100 dB attenuation up to 400 MHz, ensuring stable MRI operation across a range of field strengths. Optional acoustic enhancements and flexible panel dimensions allow the shield to adapt to unique architectural conditions while maintaining long-term reliability.
