EMSwitch™ Multi-Channel RF Switching for Advanced Test Systems

EMSwitch RF Switch Plug-in Cards are versatile multi-channel switch matrices designed for routing RF signals in measurement setups such as immunity, emissions, and wireless testing, fully optimized for use with ETS‑Lindgren’s EMCenter platform. Available in a broad selection of configurations—including SPDT and SP6T coaxial relays up to 18 GHz or 40 GHz—these plug-in cards support any combination within the system, enabling tailored switching architectures for complex test requirements. EMSwitch cards handle RF signals from DC to 18 GHz with power levels up to 240 W at 3 GHz directly, or can switch virtually any RF power level indirectly. The rack-mountable system features an internal power supply for 12 VDC and 28 VDC relays and can control up to four external relays. EMSwitch is fully compatible with TILE!, EMQuest, and other automation platforms, and includes a hardware interlock function that allows the first relay to act as a safety shutoff, protecting personnel by disabling RF to the amplifier when linked to a chamber door switch.
